If I order today, when will my order be processed and shipped?
97% of all orders ship within 5 days of receipt of order. Many items are in stock and ship next day. If you need an exact ship date, contact us on our toll free number and we will be happy to get you that information. You will be notified by email your tracking number when the item ships.
What types of payment do you accept?
Safeway accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express
We also accept personal or company checks, electronic funds transfer (EFT) or wire transfer. Contact Customer.service@safewaysite.com for instructions on EFT and wire transfers. We do not accept C.O.D. or PayPal at this time.
What is your return policy?
You may return any standard item in the first 30 days without question. You will be responsible for shipping charges on cancelled orders. If Safeway or the manufacturers are at fault, we will arrange and pay for shipping on all returns. Please call customer service for a return authorization number and instructions.
What if we are tax exempt?
Safeway is required by law to collect sales tax on all items shipped within the state of Illinois. If you are tax exempt, you must fax a tax exempt certificate to Safeway at 815-986-1507. This must be faxed, as we are required to have in our files a signed copy of the certificate.
What if my shipment is damaged?
If you notice any damage to the products or packaging refuse shipment and notify us. We will expedite the claim and repair or replace the items. If you discover the damage after receiving the shipment, call the freight company and file a claim with them. If you need assistance, please call our customer support team..
Do you offer quantity discounts?
We do offer discounts on quantities of ten or more on the same item. Contact us for additional discounting.
Do you offer custom products?
Many times we can offer custom sizes or variations of our stock items. Contact Customer.service@safewaysite.com with your requirements and we will be happy to assist you.
How are your products shipped?
Most items are shipped common carrier. Usually they are too large to ship UPS, unless it is an accessory item. We choose the lowest cost carrier, but you may specify one if you choose. Freight charges on our site are estimates that are normally very accurate, for the carriers we use. On large orders additional discounts may be found on freight as well.
If I cancel my order is there a restocking fee?
Yes. We do charge a 15% restocking fee on all standard items. Additional charges may be added if the item is damaged or used. There are no returns allowed on non-standard items or colors.
What is your refund policy?
All standard items may be returned within 30 days of shipment if you are not happy with the purchase. See warranty page for more information.
How do I track my order?
Once the item has been shipped you will receive an e-mail with shipping information (item, quantity, shipping address, carrier and tracking number).
